"The World of Otome Games Is Tough for Mobs" (also published as Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika Nai Akuyaku Reijō ni Tensei shiteshimatta…) is an isekai/otome-game–parody series where a protagonist reincarnates into the world of an otome game as a background character (a "mob"). The story subverts typical otome tropes by focusing on minor characters' struggles, survival strategies, and attempts to avoid bad endings (the “bad flags”) that befall side characters in the original game’s plot.
