However, when Microsoft released Windows 10 in 2015, significant architectural changes—such as the removal of Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) 1.0 dependencies and stricter driver signing requirements—rendered HP Solution Centre non-functional or unstable.

HP discontinued Solution Centre several years ago. It was designed for Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7. On Windows 10, HP recommends using modern replacements:
